Hair Restore

What is Hair Restore

Hair Restore typically refers to a range of products, treatments, or procedures aimed at addressing hair loss and promoting hair growth. Hair loss can occur due to various factors such as genetics, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, medical conditions, or certain medications.

Hair Restore products often include shampoos, conditioners, serums, oils, or supplements that claim to nourish the hair follicles, strengthen the hair, and stimulate regrowth. These products may contain ingredients like biotin, minoxidil, vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts, or peptides, which are believed to support hair health.

Symptoms of Hair Restore

  • Thinning hair: Gradual thinning of hair on the scalp is a common symptom. Hair may become noticeably thinner, and you might observe a wider parting or visible scalp through the hair.
  • Receding hairline: In males, the hairline may recede from the front, resulting in an “M” shape. Females may also experience a receding hairline, although it is typically less common.
  • Bald patches: Some individuals may develop bald patches or spots on the scalp. These areas may be completely devoid of hair.
  • Excessive hair shedding: Increased hair shedding is often noticed during brushing, showering, or when running fingers through the hair.

Treatment of Hair Restore

  • Medications: Two FDA approved medications for hair loss treatment are minoxidil Rogaine and finasteride Propecia. Minoxidil is available over the counter as a topical solution or foam, and it is applied directly to the scalp to promote hair growth. Finasteride is a prescription medication that is taken orally and works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone DHT, which is a hormone linked to hair loss in some individuals.

  • Hair Transplantation: Hair transplantation is a surgical procedure that involves removing hair follicles from one part of the body usually the back of the scalp and transplanting them into areas with thinning or no hair. This procedure is typically performed by a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon.

  • Low Level Laser Therapy LLLT: LLLT involves the use of red light therapy to stimulate hair growth. It is believed to work by increasing blood flow to the hair follicles and promoting cell metabolism. LLLT devices can be used at home or in a clinical setting.

  • Platelet Rich Plasma PRP Therapy: PRP therapy involves extracting a small amount of the patients blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets, and then injecting the platelet rich plasma into the scalp. The growth factors in the plasma are thought to stimulate hair growth and improve the thickness and quality of existing hair.

  • Scalp Micropigmentation SMP: SMP is a non surgical cosmetic procedure that uses specialized pigments to create the appearance of hair follicles on the scalp. It can be used to camouflage areas of thinning hair or create the illusion of a shaved head with closely spaced hair follicles.
